I too like your website but LOVED my lesson on Mellow One! For the first time in my life I soared like a bird! I wasn’t scared a bit, once I heard Dave’s safety briefing I knew I was in safe hands! His enthusiasm is contagious so I knew I would have fun. Dave is an excellent instructor and I recommend everyone, even “chickens like me”, give trike flying a chance. Thanks Amphian Air for a thrill of a lifetime!

Dave, I enjoyed my discovery flight so much, i just can’t describe. Few things in life equal the excitement i felt flying with you on Mellow One. Looking back and watching my video i realize the many procedures and habitual practices you utilized to make my flight a safe one. I hope everyone tries this at least once as it was definately one of the coolest things i’ve ever done!!

Flying a trike on wheels in Vancouver – Canada, i always thought of landing on water so i took a trip out east to warmer pastures to see what flying on floats is all about. After putting in some time doing just that with Dave from Amphibian Air , i knew this was the best kind of flying anyone can experience. Words cannot describe it and it has to be on everyone bucket list- at least! 🙂 I now own a float trike and want to take the time to thank you Dave for making my dream come true. Dave is a knowledgeable, patient instructor that knows how to make it comfortable and safe at all times. Thank you and All the best! Mar

The Game Changer
There is far more to Savannah than dusty old bars and trolley rides downtown. For residents or visitors, the experience that Dave Myers provides at Amphibian Air is one to be relished. I’ve taken two flights with Dave so far, and will continue to do so as Dave is a consummate professional. He was punctual and thoroughly explained all processes. These explanations helped calm my nerves during my first open air flight. This unique experience of seeing the sunset through the clouds with the curvature of the Earth is truly hypnotizing. Even though I’m sure Dave takes these flights all the time, he seemed just as enthusiastic as I was. He was even willing to chase the sunset for a few extra minutes. The moral of the story is that Savannah is filled with interesting history, but everyone should take time for a modern adventure with Dave Myers of Amphibian Air!!!
Giving a whole new meaning to “sunrise”…
I’ve lived in Savannah most of my life. I can’t count the number of times I’ve gone to Tybee or Downtown Savannah. Through all these years, I never thought I would have the opportunity to view these places from such a different perspective. Flying with Dave in Mellow was one of the most unforgettable moments of my life. While we were taxiing in the water before take-off, Dave was explaining what he checks before going forward. He was so professional and knowledgeable about the trike. I was rather impressed. While in the air, he taught me about the winds and thermals (from the trees). He answered all of my questions with confidence and made me feel at ease. I’m afraid of heights and was rather nervous to fly in the amphibious trike. Once we took off, I was so mesmerized by the views and scenery that I couldn’t be scared. The sunrise coupled with the remarkable views of the water, marsh, Tybee, and downtown had me so captivated. I will cherish this memorable adventure for the rest of my life, and wonder if I will ever experience anything so invigorating again. I HIGHLY recommend Amphibian Air and Dave to anyone that is looking for a delightful new experience!!!
What an exhilarating and memorable experience!! Even though we were weather delayed twice we could not have had a more gorgeous evening with the first hints of cooler weather, a brilliant sunset and glorious full harvest moon rise!!! WOW!!
