Amphibian Air Visits Daytona Beach

WOW… Daytona Beach has some beautiful coastline. Doug Boyle and I spent five glorious days giving Introductory Flights and exploring the coast and the Intercostal waterways. Everyone we met was excited to see us flying “Mello One”. We were interviewed on HOG Radio, 95.7, because we landed amongst their “Redneck Regatta” and were invited to their BBQ. We also gave an Intro Flight to Roxanne from the Chamber of Commerce and she was kind to post it to Daytona Beach’s Facebook page, (http://www.facebook.com/daytonabeach). We believe we found our winter pond, temps were in the mid 70′s, winds calm, blue skies. We will be operating there as weather permits. Doug and I also plan to visit Seabring Fl. for the airshow beginning Jan. 19th, so if you’re in sunny Florida give us a call, come fly with us….Dave

Congratulations to Mark Crabb of Richmond Hill Ga., for completing his Transition Training to WSCL & WSCS with Amphibian Air. Mark demonstrated great piloting skills and his dedication to safety and his enthusiasm for learning has set the bar high for fellow students to follow. After training he received his Proficiency Checkrides from Doug Boyle SCFI of NC.
